ESG Report: Progress and Initiatives in 2023/2024

We proudly present Westpack's new ESG report for the fiscal year 2023/2024. This report marks an essential step in our efforts to promote sustainability, social responsibility, and good corporate governance.

It is crucial for Westpack to be a reliable and responsible partner for our customers, suppliers, and the community as a whole. Our ESG report documents our progress and initiatives in environmental, social and governance areas and shows how we work towards a more sustainable future. We invite you to dive into the report and learn how we continuously work with these three areas.

Like many other companies, we report our initiatives in accordance with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that ESG is key to a healthy and profitable business. Over the years, we have continuously improved our ESG efforts, and this year's report is no exception.

Here is a glimpse of what you can read about:

CSRD

The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) is an EU directive that requires sustainability reporting from larger companies starting in 2024. Westpack is not yet subject to these requirements, but we are acting as if we are to provide relevant data to our larger customers who are covered by the directive.

ESG in Numbers

Here, you will find our first report on the CSRD key figures we have included in this year's ESG report. These key figures provide an overview of factual Westpack values regarding Environmental, Social, and Governance activities in Denmark, China, and Indonesia.

Westpack Stories

The report is also filled with inspiring stories. Read about how Danish language classes benefit Oksana (on the right) and her colleagues, what the collaboration between Westpack and FCM Samfund has meant for Mads (below), how we turn waste into aesthetic jewellery boxes, and much more.

We invite you to dive into the report and explore our ongoing commitment to ESG initiatives.

Fact

An ESG report covers a company's performance and initiatives within three main areas: Environmental, Social, and Governance. An ESG report aims to provide investors, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders with insights into how the company handles and integrates sustainability and social responsibility into its business model.
